Supporting those in need

The Royal Society of Musicians supports those working across the music profession whose lives have been affected by accident or illness. We fully understand the challenges that can face the profession and also help those who need us during their retirement years.

The Society provides financial assistance for many health needs including physical and emotional therapies, referrals to specialised practitioners and associated treatments. We help those needing support on a more long-term basis, by funding home adaptations or providing living expenses. We also offer money management and debt advice.
In a profession where public knowledge of illness or financial difficulty has a devastating impact on an individual’s career, the Society ensures that every application for assistance is treated with the utmost discretion and sensitivity.
