Supporting the music sector

The Royal Society of Musicians exists to support those working across the UK music sector whose lives have been affected by accident or illness. We provide financial assistance for many health needs including physical and emotional therapies, referrals to specialised practitioners and associated treatments, or providing short-term living expenses. We also help those needing support on a more long-term basis, by funding home adaptations and mobility aids.

In a profession where public knowledge of illness or financial difficulty has a devastating impact on an individual’s career, we ensure that every application for assistance is treated with the utmost discretion and sensitivity.

For more information and to apply, please contact our Grants team – [email protected] / 020 7629 6137, or take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions.

To ensure we are reaching as many music professionals in need as possible, RSM also works with referral partners from all corners of the UK, which direct musicians who may not have heard of us to our services. Take a look at the list of our partner organisations here.
