Performance anxiety or stage fright is incredibly common amongst performers. It can differ in intensity depending on many factors.

In this session, performance coach Dr Berenice Beverley Zammit will look at the different ways performance anxiety can show up in different people and what the contributing factors might be, plus a wealth of techniques and tips to help alleviate performance anxiety over time including pre and post performance routines for musicians, covering the following topics:

Dr Berenice Beverley Zammit is a Performance Expert, Performance Coach and Chartered Psychologist whose work focuses on how high-level performance holds under scrutiny. 

Berenice coaches musicians and performing artists, as well as athletes and other high-stakes professionals, who are technically prepared yet experience instability under pressure, such as perceptual narrowing, conscious motor over-control, muscular tightening and memory lapses.

As a consultant, Berenice collaborates with performing arts and sport institutions including the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), One Dance UK, and the Malta Olympic Committee (MOC), delivering research-informed programmes on performance preparation, regulation, physical health and wellbeing, and sustainable excellence.
