Angela Malsbury (1945-2026)
Angela Malsbury, who has died at the age of 80, was one of the most distinguished clarinettists of her generation, a sought after orchestral player who also shone as a chamber musician and soloist and an eminent teacher whose students include some of our most successful players today.
Anthony van Kampen (1943-2026)
It was said more than once that Anthony van Kampen was a ‘’Renaissance Man’’, not only because he was an artist as well as a musician, but also, because he performed on several other instruments apart from the double bass (for which he is chiefly remembered).
