EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

The RSM is strategically and operationally committed to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of its work. 

This strategic plan seeks to:

  • acknowledge and address the RSM’s history in a transparent and accountable manner

  • promote and embed EDI in all policies and procedures

  • broaden the diversity of the Society’s membership, governorship and staff and actively address underrepresentation of marginalised groups within the music sector

  • identify and remove any barriers to diversity and inclusion

  • provide anti-discrimination and unconscious bias training for all staff and Governors

  • join wider efforts towards EDI taking place in the music and wider arts sectors
