EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
The RSM is strategically and operationally committed to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of its work.
This strategic plan seeks to:
acknowledge and address the RSM’s history in a transparent and accountable manner
promote and embed EDI in all policies and procedures
broaden the diversity of the Society’s membership, governorship and staff and actively address underrepresentation of marginalised groups within the music sector
identify and remove any barriers to diversity and inclusion
provide anti-discrimination and unconscious bias training for all staff and Governors
join wider efforts towards EDI taking place in the music and wider arts sectors
